Answers to Questions

How to interpret Klingon signs?

The writing in Klingon has a handwritten form (the symbols above) and a literal / phonetic form. dCode allows the transformation of these symbols into Latin alphabet.

Example: char(67) for ch

The English translation of Klingon's words is not available, however there is a semi official dictionary like The Klingon Dictionary here

How to write in Klingon?

The Klingon script is a substitution of the characters of the Latin alphabet by their Klingon symbol.

Example: a is written char(65)

There are some exceptions like poly-characters substitution ch, ng, gh or tlh

Example: tlh is written as char(90)

English words must be translated into Klingon to keep the original language spirit.

Example: tlhIngan maH translates We are Klingon

When to use Klingon?

The Klingon language is used in The Star Trek series, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, Discovery on the Kronos planet... and by all the geeks fans of the series (especially the fans of Spock).
