Aworded is a smartphone word game inspired by the principles of Scrabble. Developed by the Argentinian studio Etermax, it is marketed under the name Apalabrados in its original Spanish version.
The goal of the game is to form words from a set of letters and place them on a board composed of special squares (double letter score, triple letter score, double word score, triple word score) in order to maximize the score.
Unlike traditional Scrabble, Aworded is played online, either asynchronously or in real time, against other players via the internet.
The Aworded solver uses the 7 letter tiles to find solutions with words giving the most points in the dictionary. A blank letter (joker) is written with a special character like ?, -, ., _, * or space.
Example: Draw ABCDEFG, DECOD?R (with ? joker), DECOD*R (with * joker)
Aworded solver can take letters on the board (optionally)
Use a letter already played to connect a word:
Example: On the board, letters C, D, and E are free. Enter CDE or C,D,E as board letters.
For a sequence of letter, to extend a word, select the pattern method
Example: Enter A--B if on the board there are a letter A, followed by a letter B, 3 tiles away.
Example: Enter BAC if the letters B, then A then C are consecutive on the board.
This solver can be used to cheat at Aworded, dCode is not responsible for cheating and friends loss!
The score of a word depends on the individual value of each letter and the special squares on the board (double letter score, triple letter score, double word score, triple word score).
| A | 1 | B | 3 | C | 3 | D | 2 | E | 1 | F | 4 | G | 2 | H | 4 | I | 1 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| J | 8 | K | 5 | L | 1 | M | 3 | N | 1 | O | 1 | P | 3 | Q | 10 | R | 1 |
| S | 1 | T | 1 | U | 1 | V | 4 | W | 4 | X | 8 | Y | 4 | Z | 10 |
The values of the letters are slightly different from those of Scrabble.
