Answers to Questions

How to calculate the value of a word?

In numerology, it is common to associate a numerical value to each letter of a word, a value, usually its rank in the alphabet. Take A=1 until Z=26, and sum the numeric values found for each letter (the letters calculator sum up automatically) to get the word's value:

Example: DCODE = D+C+O+D+E = 4+3+15+4+5 = 31

How to find the digital root (only 1 digit)?

Numerology uses recursive reduction, which consists in applying the calculation until having only one digit:

Example: DCODE = 31 and 3+1 = 4

This calculation also called digital root, is widely used to associate a number between 0 and 9 to a name.

What is the sum of all 26 letters of the alphabet?

The sum A+B+C+...+Z so 1+2+3+...+26 is equal to 351.
