Boggle Solver (Any Size)

Boggle NxN is a universal version of the Boggle game where the letter grid has a configurable size (which can be different from the classic 4x4 version). The grid can be sized 6x6, 7x7, 8x8, or even larger, even rectangular. The basic rules remain the same: players must form existing words in the dictionary by connecting adjacent letters.

Specify the size of the grid and enter the Boggle letters in the cells.

— A wildcard (a special cell that can be any letter) is written with the * or ? character (do not enter too many wildcards, as the solver will limit its solutions).

— Empty (unusable) cells are accepted.

— Cells containing multiple letters, such as QU, are allowed.

The dCode solver includes the majority of variants to the Boggle:

— customization of the size of the board 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 8x8, 9x9, 10x10 etc (including rectangular formats 3x4 4x3, 4x5, 5x4 etc. or personalized heart, diamond, etc.)

— permission/prohibition to reuse letters in the word

— authorization (or not) of diagonal letters

— authorization (or not) of wildcards

— authorization (or not) of black / empty / blocking cells

— possibility to use boxes containing several letters (to be selected)

— possibility to join the edges (a letter on the left touches a letter on the right)

etc.

— Improved Game Skills: Boggle players can use a solver to discover new words, improve their vocabulary and increase their personal score (beware of cheating).

— Word Validation: Players can check if the words they find on a Boggle board are valid using the solver's dictionary as a check tool.

— Teaching Spelling: Teachers can use Boggle to create fun learning activities that help students improve their spelling.

Generally, the Scrabble dictionary CSW (or equivalent) is used to define the validity of a list of words for playing boggle.

Short words are generally prohibited (depending on the size of the grid, the rules may ban words shorter than 3, 4, 5 or 6 letters).
