Tool to convert percentages/ratio/fractions. Percentage calculation consists in writing a number via a fraction of 100, using the sign %.

A **percentage** is ratio for 100 items. Technically it is a transformed fraction with the denominator 100 (one hundred). To convert a fraction to a **percentage** multiply the numerator and the denominator by a factor in order to have the denominator equals to 100.

Example: 3/4 = (3*25)/(4*25) = 75/100 = 75%

A **percentage** is already a fraction (over 100), write this proportion in lowest term.

Example: 25% = 25/100 = 1/4

A **percentage** is a fraction and a fraction is a number, so converting a **percentage** to a number is making the corresponding division.

Example: 4% = 4/100 = 0.04

The dCode tools as the equation solver allows to solve equations such as :

Example: If 25% of X = 100, Then X = ? (The answer is 400)
