A musical sheet is a transcription describing the music on a staff with notes (and other signs).
The reading is based on solfeggio. dCode can convert a staff into notes by translating the most common 14 notes and their variation sharp # and flat b.
Example:
DO | C | RE | D | MI | E | FA | F | SOL | G | LA | A | SI | B |

dCode displays partitions with a treble key (usual for a piano) or a bass key and notes are all eight notes.
In order to transcribe the two level of notes, the first level can be suffixed by 1 and the second by 2 (1 is the lowest note).
The eighth note is the most represented note in music ♪ it has an oval head of solid black color. Its duration is defined as equal to half a quarter note (crotchet), a quarter of a half note (minim), and an eighth of a whole note (semibreve).
dCode has taken the liberty to simplify the writing of sharps and bemols, they are normally on the same level as their following note on the stave.
The type of note (eighth note, quarter note, half note) is not taken into account in the name of the note.
