## Writing numbers in Shadok Base

Tool to convert Shadoks numbers. Shadoks Numeral System uses 4 words : GA, BU, ZO and MEU, and allows to count normally in base 4.

### How to count using Shadoks?

Shadoks Numeral System uses the base 4 (quaternary base) with the symbols: GA, BU, ZO and MEU, respectively for 0, 1, 2 and 3. To convert a number (decimal in base 10), write it in base 4 and use the Shadoks' symbols (also called GABUZOMEU).

Example: $228_{(10)}$ (base 10) is written $3210_{(4)}$ (base 4) and so MEUZOBUGA in Shadok

### How to decrypt a number written in Shadok?

To convert Shadoks numbers, replace GA, BU, ZO and MEU by their respective values : 0, 1, 2 and 3 and treat the number as written in base 4 then convert it to base 10.

Example: MEUZOBUGA = MEU (3) ZO (2) BU (1) GA (0) so $3210_{(4)}$ (base 4) converted to $228_{(10)}$ (base 10) (see writing in base n)
